Once a source is found, the bee performs a special dance to inform other bees of the location. Nectar Collection: Bees fly to the identified flowers and collect nectar in their honey sacs (honey stomachs). Once full, they return to the hive for further processing. Nectar Breakdown: Inside the hive, the nectar (initially containing disaccharides like sucrose and water) is enzymatically broken down into monosaccharides (glucose and fructose).
